In the global economy today earning a living or getting a job is not as easy as it was 10 years ago. If you speak mandarin there are a lot of jobs all over the world in every country that are very high paying. My business has more or less collapsed because times have changed. I have sold guitars and horses for over 30 years. Today everyone has his own web page so they go direct or buy on line. With the Google translators people can more or less translate a request to purchase an item while trying to figure out where my next niche would be I left my card with the government office in Granada Spain. Granada’s government is on the verge of bankruptcy so I didn’t have much hope. After a month I was called to work on a temporary basis as a tour guide for a group of Chinese from Beijing. To my great surprise I was hired.
Trying to figure out how to charge them I investigated on the internet for Mandarin Interpreters. There is a huge need for Mandarin Interpreters all over the world. I thought as there are so many Chinese stores everywhere there would be lots of native speakers to do that job. I was wrong. I was even asked to go to Barcelona because some friends couldn’t find an interpreter. That is over 1000 kilometers from where I am in Spain. I have a Cantonese girlfriend who has learned to speak mandarin in Spain because there is so much work. Looking on the internet I found the average low price for an interpreter is 250 US a day. 500 a day is the average. What does this mean? To invest in your future study Mandarin and you will have very lucrative work in any country of the world. Mandarin Garden language school should be on your list if you want to protect your future.
