It was the Annual Family Day of Jinqiao Community in Pudong. We got there very early to get ready for the decorations full of Chinese cultural elements, such as the big red lanterns. The room was filled with the Authorization for IPA, many qualifications certificates on the walls and different kinds of teaching materials on a big long table. On the right was the Cotton Candy Area, and on the left was the Activity Area. The enthusiastic band gave the first performance and our show started. More and more people came to participate in the show. Foreign children and their parents joined us as well. They took part in different activities in the Cotton Candy Area and the Beijing Opera Facial Make-up was the most popular one. Our foreign students played the guitar and sang three Chinese songs by themselves which got bursts of applause. After that, our Taji show attracted lots of foreigners to take photographs. The most attractive performance was the Dai Ethnic Minority dance by our teachers who were dancing gracefully with the beautiful music in glittery dresses. In the afternoon, all the foreign children and their parents were sitting on the advertisement board and doing the Beijing Opera Facial Make-up. Even though our show came to the end, lots of children still wanted to take part in the activities and some of them asked for the information of our courses. Everybody had a wonderful day today.
